Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht Ravanchi announced on Sunday that Istanbul is the preferred venue for the next round of indirect negotiations with the United States, as diplomatic channels between the two countries continue through mediators.
Speaking about Iran’s ongoing nuclear discussions, Ravanchi stated that Tehran has reaffirmed its right to enrich uranium and made its stance clear to European nations involved in the 2015 nuclear agreement.
The latest round of nuclear talks between Iran and the E3—Germany, the United Kingdom, and France—was held in Istanbul on Friday. Ravanchi emphasized that Iran remains committed to its national rights while remaining open to diplomatic dialogue.
