After meeting with the president, the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) delegation met with Nuri al-Maliki, leader of the State of Law coalition, and Musana Samarai, leader of the Azm coalition, to discuss the formation of the next Iraqi government.
The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) delegation is also scheduled to meet with other Shiite and Sunni political forces on Tuesday as part of ongoing talks aimed at forming the new Iraqi government.
The KDP delegation includes Fazel Mirani, Fuad Hussein, Nawzad Hadi, Omid Sabah, and Fares Isa.
