Farooq Mullah Mustafa, the owner of Asiacell, has pledged to donate 1.2 billion Iraqi dinars to the victims of the floods in Chamchamal.
On Monday, December 15, 2025, aid campaigns continued for several consecutive days across cities and towns in the Kurdistan Region and abroad, as citizens and investors mobilized to support those affected in Chamchamal.
Farooq Mullah Mustafa joined the campaign, announcing that his donation would be directed to families impacted by the disaster.
Meanwhile, the outgoing government has yet to provide assistance to the victims, while local residents and donors continue efforts to clean homes and streets and collect aid for affected families.
