Clashes broke out on Saturday, December 6, 2025, between two PUK forces in the southern Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
According to an NRT reporter, the confrontation occurred at the Bani Maqan checkpoint between Chamchamal and Kirkuk, after the checkpoint forces requested identity cards from commando members.
