An NRT team was arrested on Tuesday in Khabat by a force affiliated with the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP). During the incident, parts of the team’s journalistic equipment were damaged.
NRT reporter Shiraz Abdullah and NRT cameraman Najmaddin Sadiqi were detained by the KDP force.
According to NRT’s account, some of the team’s equipment was broken, while other items were taken away by the forces involved.
