"We expect the electricity situation to return to normal by 4 pm today,” Electricity Minister Kamal Mohammed said on Sunday.
He explained that the region’s electricity supply has been suspended for more than 72 hours due to the attacks on the Kormor field.
The minister added that the issue at the warehouse targeted in the attack has not yet been resolved. Until repairs are completed, gas will be delivered to power stations through 150 tankers to maintain production.
