A weather expert has announced that the first snowfall of the year is expected soon, warning that the country is heading toward a severe winter season unlike the past three years.

Speaking on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, the meteorologist said that winter conditions will be intense and the amount of precipitation—both rain and snow—will be unusually high. He noted that December is likely to bring heavy snowfall, strong hailstorms, and continuous waves of rain, making it one of the toughest winter months in recent memory.

According to the expert, snowfall levels are expected to exceed those of the previous three winters, and several powerful weather systems will affect the region throughout the season.

He added that the increased precipitation will have significant environmental benefits. Groundwater levels are expected to rise, wells that have dried up in recent years are likely to refill, and some dams may even reach overflow levels.

However, the meteorologist also warned of severe cold spells. In certain areas, temperatures may drop low enough to cause deep freezing, leading to potential damage to trees and agricultural lands.
