The Iraqi Independent High Election Commission announced that its centers will remain open throughout the Eid al-Adha holidays to assist citizens with biometric card registration and updates.
With just one week remaining in the registration period, the commission is urging all eligible voters to take advantage of the holidays and visit the nearest voter registration center to renew their biometric cards or resolve any issues related to fingerprints or card data.
The commission also emphasized that citizens born in 2007 are now eligible to vote and can register at any center during these nine days. Those who fail to obtain a biometric card will not be eligible to vote in the upcoming elections.
