The Sulaimanyah Police Directorate has warned citizens not to allow any unknown person to use their communication devices or mobile phones to make calls or send messages, as this may be linked to criminal intentions.
In a statement, the police advised residents to take precautionary measures, including installing surveillance cameras at homes and businesses, noting that such systems help deter crime and assist police in quickly identifying suspects.
According to observers, crime rates particularly murders have increased in various parts of the Kurdistan Region, prompting calls for relevant authorities to take necessary measures to address the situation.
