SULAIMANI — Two missiles were fired at Zilikan military base
on Monday (August 15), the Kurdistan Counter-Terrorism Directorate (CTD) said.
The base hosts Turkish troops and is located in Bashika,
Nineveh province.
The CTD said the missiles were fired at 1:50 pm and one of
them struck near Gudad village, close to the base. No one was hurt from the
attack there.
The directorate said another missile hit the base but the
extent of any damage or casualties is unknown.
"The missiles were fired near Gogjali neighborhood in
Mosul,” the directorate said.
