Iraqi oil revenue for February tops $8 billion

SULAIMANI — The Ministry of Oil announced the revenue for the month of February on Tuesday (March 1), noting the total amounted to more than $8 billion.

The ministry said in a statement that the total exports of crude oil achieved for the month of February, according to preliminary statistics issued by the State Organization for Marketing Oil (SOMO), amounted to 92,790,173 barrels of oil and the revenue amounted to $8.54 billion.

The ministry said the total quantity of exported crude oil for the month of February from oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to 91,314,828 barrels, while the oil exported from the Kirkuk fields through Ceyhan port amounted to 475,345 barrels.

The average daily quantity amounted to 3,314 barrels per day, while the average price of one barrel amounted to more than $92.083 dollars.
