SULAIMANI — A man suspected of killing his
wife in Bardarash district was arrested on Tuesday (May 24), said Hemin Slemani,
the spokesperson of Duhok police.
Slemani said the suspect, who had fled from
the police the previous day, called the authorities to inform them of his
whereabouts on Tuesday.
The director of Bardarash police, Saad
Barzinji, said on Monday a woman was killed and the main suspect was the victim’s
husband, adding he had evaded arrest. The victim was a 31-years-old mother of
five.
