SULAIMANI — Police in Erbil said on Monday (March
7) they are investigating the murder of a young woman after her body was
discovered on 100 Meter Road near Erbil International Airport on Sunday night.
Police said they arrived at the crime scene and
after an investigation discovered the victim was Iman Sami Maghdid, a 20-year-old
activist on social media.
The homicide is currently under investigation and police
assured further details will be announced in the near future.
Maghdid’s last video was published on Tik Tok
yesterday.
