SULAIMANI — The head of the Economic
Committee of Iran’s Parliament said on Monday (January 17) the committee plans
to visit Iraq with the aim of strengthening economic relations and developing
cooperation between the two countries.
Mohammad Reza Pour Ebrahimi, the head
of the committee, told Iranian media outlet Fars News Agency the visit will
take three days and will include meetings with Iraq’s ministers of trade,
transport, communication and the heads of trade committees.
Ebrahimi also said the committee wants
to participate in the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce – International Trade Center
and the Najaf and Karbala Business Forums.
