SULAIMANI — Iraq exported more than 94.6 million barrels of oil during August, the Ministry of Oil said on Monday (September 27), citing preliminary statistics released by state oil marketer SOMO.

In return, it brought in $6.55 billion in income.

The average price per barrel in August was $69.235.

Iraq is almost entirely dependent on oil exports for its state budget.
